The latest issue of Man About Town is out on the shop floors. I am, since yesterday, a fan.
I had not seen the paper script of fashion juice before, and at a mean seven pounds a pop, it's a luxury in my world, as for the amount of magazines I buy!
However, I shall always be open eyed, spying on the issues in future days now. The photography is beautiful, mostly black and white, with odd glances of colour. It's layout is simple and clean cut. The font is clear and easy to read (much better than Vogues choice of letter race) The articles are insightful and they skip the commercial bullshit, which frankly, I hate.
I recommend Man about Town to all. Especially as this latest issue includes a spread of several pages on Aaron Johnson, who's simply delightful face is enough to make you want to skip lunch and buy this magazine instead.
Also, if you have just an obsession with the name, Man about Town, there's a lovely little article in the latest Vogue on the 'cultural-odyssey around London', which of course goes by the title of the three little words I've said so many times.
Another, if you are actually clinically obsessed.
There's a interesting blog called, Man About Town by a very great person I know. For a young, approach to design, style, music interest then this is the blog for you. Written by a fashion student in the city of Birmingham, go ahead and take a cheeky peek.
You are blatantly obsessed. Sweet.
